Amelia Dare Orr, BSN, RN is the founder and sole aesthetic injector of Carolina Aesthetic Collective in Raleigh, North Carolina.
She came to aesthetics through an unusual path: elementary education first, then nursing school, then several years in a children's emergency room in Wake County, North Carolina, before moving into aesthetic injecting full time.
What carried through every chapter was the teaching. An Aesthetic Consultation with Amelia is a teaching event, not a sales pitch.
She founded Carolina Aesthetic Collective in Raleigh because she wanted to practice differently than what she was seeing in the industry.
Seven years into her aesthetic career, her practice is shaped by two trainings with Dr. Arthur Swift, the developer of the BeautiPHIcation phi-ratio method for facial balancing, and ongoing cadaver-based study of facial anatomy, tissue planes, lymphatics, blood flow, and nerve mapping.
Amelia is also an active trainer of other aesthetic providers across North Carolina.

The face is a structure to be understood, and the way bone, fat, muscle, and skin interact over time is the lens through which every treatment decision at Carolina Aesthetic Collective gets made.
Full-face assessment before Botox, filler, or any treatment
Facial aging does not happen in one spot, which means treatment cannot be planned honestly for one spot without looking at the rest of the face. Even when a patient comes in for a single concern, Amelia assesses the entire face before recommending Botox, dermal filler, Sculptra, or anything else. If the structural support is not there, the isolated result will not look natural or age well. That is not a policy position, it is anatomy.
Minimal product, precisely placed for natural-looking results
It is far more expensive, and far more disappointing, to leave a treatment looking overfilled than to build results gradually over time. Doing anything too fast is a jolt, not just to what you see in the mirror but to your bank account. Amelia would rather a patient leave wanting slightly more than wishing for less, and she is willing to have that conversation even when a patient pushes back.
Honest clinical recommendations over sales pressure
If a treatment is not the right starting point, Amelia will say so and explain what is. Patients at Carolina Aesthetic Collective are not pushed into services. They are guided toward the plan that actually fits their anatomy, their timeline, and their face, which sometimes means taking things slowly.

The goal of every Botox, filler, or facial balancing treatment is never to make a patient look like someone else. It is to make every patient look like the best, most refreshed, and rejuvenated version of themselves, and results that age well tend to look like exactly that.
