What happens at your consultation
Your appointment runs about 60 minutes, and most of the consultation is me looking at your face and asking questions.
I will ask what you have been noticing, how long it has been happening, and what you want to feel when you look in the mirror. Then I look at bone structure, fat-pad position, muscle activity, skin quality, and how each of those is interacting with the others.
The goal is to understand what is actually driving what you are seeing. Without that, I am guessing, and I will not guess on your face.
Why the consultation comes before everything else
Two patients can walk in with the same complaint and need completely different treatment plans.
A patient asking about forehead lines may need her brow position assessed before a single unit of neuromodulator is placed. Jaw slimming is often a midface conversation in disguise, and a patient who came in asking about her masseter sometimes leaves with a plan that starts somewhere else entirely. Filler is sometimes the answer. Sometimes the better answer is a biostimulator, or a skincare protocol that buys your collagen another few years before any injectable is warranted.

What treatments may be recommended after your consultation
What I recommend depends entirely on what your face is actually doing. For some of my Raleigh patients that means neuromodulators like Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin when overactive muscle is driving the concern. For others, it means artfully and intentionally placed dermal filler to restore the volume and structure that has been lost. Some patients are better served by biostimulators like Sculptra or Hyperdilute Radiesse, which help your body produce its own collagen and elastin over time.
Some are not ready for any injectable yet, and the right starting point is medical-grade skincare, microneedling, or a peel that protects the collagen they still have. Sometimes the most honest recommendation is to wait or to start somewhere else.
Treatments with me are a marathon, not a sprint, so the right starting point is the one that protects the long arc of your face, not the one that gives you the fastest before-and-after.

The goal is to help you look like the best, most refreshed, and rejuvenated version of yourself. Investing in yourself is never something to be ashamed or embarrassed about, and you should not have to defend that decision when you walk in the door.
There is no one-size-fits-all menu here and you will never feel pressure to get any treatment. Your consultation is a two-way conversation focused on what is best for you, not what is trending or profitable.
I will never overfill a face just to make a dollar. If a treatment is not in your best interest, I will tell you that, and we will plan around it together.
